Leaf Spring Arch???
Well, both of the f100's I've owned have had a stock block, about 3" tall, between the axle and rear spring. I havent seen this block on the f150's of the same time period though, and they seem to sit about the same height. I was wondering, do the f100's have a flatter spring than the f150's? Can I pull the block and put f150 junkyard springs in? (or leave the block and get some lift

I haven't seen F-150s with blocks, at least not the 2wds, I have a 77 F-100 and the spring it had on there were WIMPY to be nice. Their arch was horrable, so I go some 2wd F-150 leaf springs from a 80's model truck. They gave me about 3-4" of lift over the old stock springs, which didn't have blocks to start with.
I almost put some blocks, but decided not to, and I'm glad I did, because it already has a big enough rake.

My '79 F250 has blocks in the rear as well. Out of the side of the block is protrusion that looks sorta like a horn, don't know what it's for.
