Ibeling Repair Service

Anybody here remember or heard of a place called Ibeling Repair Service? A while ago say in the late 80's early 1990's, they had an add in the four wheeling mags that stated they had a conversion kit to put a 1966-79 2wd PS box in the 67-E77 F250 4x4. They claimed to have the whole kit, templates and all. I actually talked to one of them on the phone back then, but lost their number>> and have'nt seen them or heard of them since. I think that they were in Ohio. Nice to have PS in these old 250's when you're plowing.

Sure ! I remember them. I have his stuff on my '71 F1000 4x4. After the original manual steering box failed ( while I was going 70mph on the hiway, scared the crap out of me...) I wanted power steering instead of just another manual setup. His kit contained a rebuilt power steering box from a 2wd 1 ton van, 5 or 6 pages of instructions, some brackets and steel plates. Took about 4hrs to drill some holes, weld in the pieces and put together. LOVE it. I know there are other ways to do it, but the Ibeling stuff has been great for me. He is a farmer from Iowa, who also happens to like old ford trucks.
