reverse sensors

I have an 05 f-350 CC LB and it didnt have the sensors on it. My wife wanted them on it before but now its lifted she wants them even more. Is there a way to install them and get the factory dash button or is there an aftermarket company that has them available. If anybody has any ideas im game to hear the options.

Do a websearch for "Backup Sensor" and you'll find a bunch of aftermarket models. I don't believe that Ford offers one as an accessory but you could still order it from parts. Probably pretty expensive though.

I have been thinking about getting them for my truck and I found this site:

www.reversebackingsystems.com.

If you send him an e-mail @ jjolly@reversebackingsystems.com, he will send you
sale specials when they run them. He seems like a good fellow to do business with.

The only thing is none of the aftermarket ones say they have a button to stop alarm immediately, it looks more like a setting. It would annoy me when backing up if i had to reset the system setting everytime I have a trailer hooked up. Talking to multiple ford dealerships nobody had any idea. Maybe I can try a dealership body shop, they might have some experience with them.

I talked to a life long friend of mine today who happens to be a ford dealership service manager, and he told me that he has never installed a reverse system at the dealership. OEM or aftermarket. He said that he soes not think that the wiring is in place for the sensors from the factory unless the vehicle was ordered with park assist. I was hoping that ford would have used the same wiring harness setup so I could just add the oem system myself. Keep me posted, I would really like to put in the oem parking assist system. THANKS

Haven't seen a button but some have a volume control. I'd probably put in a resistor and a switch in its place though.
