I've already said hi to the guys in 48-60 trucks, and I figured, now that I'm finally going to do some work in THIS truck, that it was time I said hello.
I have a rust free '57 f-100, with no drivetrain; a 65 Mustang coupe; and a '64 f-100. Yes...I'm nuts. They're all project cars, all at different stages.
The two trucks came at the same time, on the same day. An ebay deal I couldn't pass up (the '57) and a truck I thought I got "stuck" with. Nobody else bid on the '64...which is almost an EXACT copy of the truck my dad drove when I was a kid. I'm in love with this girl. I paid next to nothing for her...and have been driving her around the neighborhood (after my commute in a...ummm...Honda) every night.
I've been doing research using your older posts, but I'm sure I'll have questions in the future.
I've got a '50 F3, '66 F100, '66 F250, '64 F100, and an '83 F250 but I don't have a problem. Really. I don't have a problem... I swear. I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM.
My wife doesn't get it, but she stays out of the backyard...lol. My 62 is partially disassembled, my 64 is going on a Crown Vic, spare/extra parts all along the fence. Wonder what the neighbors will think this winter when the bushes lose their leaves.
My neighbor has a 63 or 64 that he is putting on a Crown Vic chassis. So he says, truth is he has SEVERAL projects in progress, but it doesn't look like any are ever gonna be finished. But then who am I to talk, I have 3 in progress, and probably be starting another one in 6 months!
