The one thing a dealer won't do, on a new rig, is sell it to lose money-
Heh...when I read that, it reminded me of some of those radio commercials
"Run! Don't walk! The largest ever car sale is at the XYZ Fairgrounds this weekend only! You will never be able to buy for less. We are under orders from our managers to take any reasonable offer regardless of loss! Ford shipped too many, they all must go! Our loss is your gain! Drag, push or pull your trade, we'll give you up to 10 times what it's worth! If you find a better deal, bring us the offer and we'll beat it! If we can't beat it, we'll give you a brand new GT!"
*Offer excludes all vehicles. Offer may change without notice. All prices plus $995 doc fee. If your trade were worth a dollar we'll give you $10
Oh gawd, there was one of those in town this weekend. The trunkmonkey doesn't do stuff like that, but all the usual dealer suspects were in. This used car glut has been a blessing to us- between the two stores we took in so many trades it wasn't even true. Cherry-picked the good stuff and packaged up the rest to wholesale heaven.
The truck monkey rocks. Bribes officials, saves the driver, deliver a baby. Is that an option we can get on the right coast????? I sure could use one of those with my kids.
