That was how i found my now wife, we had lost contact over the years, so I decided to look her up. I found her on the only school I knew her to have gone to, although there were several. It so happened she was on the listing, so I contacted her and we hit it off again like we had never been apart. Have yet to have an all out fight, never gets that far, and we have been together for nearly 4 years now. Just celebrated our 3rd anniversary this month.

Im listed on there, but It's pretty lame that ya gotta pay so much for it. Some web desihgner made a ALUMNI site for the highschool I went to, the best part is its free.
I was on for a year. Never did bother to get in touch with the, oh, 10 people I got to know at my new high school my senior year. Almost nobody I knew from my 1st high school is on there.
I think the clincher not to renew was when I got home one night from another 15-hour day at my restaurant (March 03 sounds right). The girl that was planning our 5-year "reunion" allegedly got kidnapped, so the county detective says...Needless to say, I wasn't happy about being summoned to the door by a local cop at 11pm then having the detective wake me up at 4am with another 15-hour day ahead!
Turns out the skank (3 kids from 3 diff guys = SKANK!) cheated on her hubby and tried to burn their house down and because I cancelled my plans online to show up, I was accused by her to make her look innocent.
I was sorta' honored that I got nominated, since at least one person thinks I am not a dog-face (okay, I really don't lack confidence, but hang with me), but the fact that she accused me of that while driving a "brown 80's model Cadillac"...that b!tch will never peel that grudge away from me! She got jailed--I guess she couldn't pick me out of the senior yearbook and that did her in--detectives let me know that her getting the whole county law on me wasn't good for her to do (Really?). Her in-laws came into my biz and ate with me. Swell.
So, really, be careful. If you don't get a return call from the reunion planner, even after offering GOOD money for tickets and she had kids before she got out of high school.....HIDE!
As far as reunions go, I haven't bothered to go to any... I don't even get notified any more. I put my name up there, and there are many that are on as well. I figure if they want to catch up with me, i left them the means to do so. The price is certainly plenty for what the service is... I paid the fee the first time to catch up with my old sweetheart, but haven't bothered to renew since.
I never really enjoyed high school and do not keep in touch with anyone from that time in my life. I'm not much into re-unions, I understand war veterans getting back together, they spilled blood together. To me the high school re-unions are more just people showing off other then anything else.
Anyone from high school I WANT to keep in touch with, I already do and have done so since high school......I can't see spending money to email a bunch of people I probably don't want to talk to anyways.....
