I am looking for information on injector driver modules. I have been told that all modules between 95 - 2001 are interchangeable. Is there any reference material to support this or is there any way to decode the oem # for their applications. Are there different modules for standard and automatic?
Any help will be appreciated.

kwik got it in the fenderwell. there are some changes between them over the years but not too sure of what changes there are. from manual to auto there the same. the california trucks and superduties have splitshot injectors and i think there a differnt idm from obs federal emmissions trucks
There have been changes in the IDM from year to year, but they will still interchange. The IDM doesn't know if it's single or split shot injection...that is a physical change in the injector and a minor programming change. The IDM is little more than an amplifier, it gets the command to fire and it supplies voltage to the injector.
