I already had autometer gagues installed awhile back, Had the superchip programmer but wanted something with an on the fly adj setting, so i had the edge installed and they wired it and Probed the moniter so all the gagues work..
I noticed that the edge reads a 4-5psi difference than the gagues.. along with a 30-50 degree difference in EGT... Both EGT probes are only 1/2" apart on the Manifold so there shouldnt be a Temp defference..
Which would be the most likely to be wrong... Gagues or the Edge tuner?
I found what was posted to be different my gauges vs Attitude monitor boost wise are spot on, the EGT on the Edge is a little higher (35-45 degrees) as we are an Edge distributor I got info that they calibrate a little high on the pyro to help the engine live from the possible driver not watching the temps. Kind of a built in safety factor etc.
I believe the MAP senor can only read 33.8 psi so that is as high as it will show. As for actual numbers I sold my Edge before I installed all my new guages so I have no idea honestly. But someone around here can prolly answer that.
