AC Problems

Hello I have been here before but never registered. I have a 99 F150 thats having problems with the ac. I purchased r134a from a store, when I noticed the ac wasnt cold as it used to be.I charged it up to 45 psi it came with a guage attached to the hose. So it ran great, that was last year.Just recently it started to get warm air again so I thought it might need to be recharged again so I hooked up the guage and it read good. At night it blows decent cold air but in the middle of the day it blows hot, sometimes it blows cold but not as it used to.When I turn the temp adjuster to hot it still blows cold air.So I thought the guage was broken, I tore the dash apart and read with a meter to see if the guage was faulty.Dont know if I did it wrong but it showed good ( read between contacts for contitnuity sp? ). Now my air bag symbol on the dash now flashes even though the passenger air bag is on.When I start the truck all the needles shoot to the right then go back to normal. So apparently I put the dash back together wrong.I am sorry so long but wanted to try to give all the details.Any help in the right direction would be appreciated. Thank you.
