'79 frame under '61 uni?

'79 frame under '61 uni?
It all started with EBAY.
After stuffing a '92 5.0, AOD into my '66 CC F100, My sons and I have caught the fever for a Unibody.
Ebay solved my need and Monday she was delivered to my door.
A '61 shorty, 223 I6, standard cab, black, 3 on the tree 2wd.
I've looked through all the search results but need more info...
Seems like there are so many advantages to just framin' it, ie
Fuel system, suspension, steering, crossmember for a side mount V8 and Oh yea! better brakes!
This forum has to have answers, it ALWAYS does!!! Can ya'll help?

I really want to try this chassis swap and I'll be e-mailin' ya.
It seems that the bed and aft cab mounts are close. My rad support and inner fender wells are toast anyway so alittle cutting shouldn't hurt a bit.
I see alot of '66 Slicks around, would those front fender wells fit on a '61?
Trying to resist the urge to tear into the project before I gather up the parts!!!
