Got a noise, need some help
Ok fellas, got a noise coming from under the truck when hitting bumps... sounds feels like its right under the back seat (crew cab) I checked the shocks (replaced at 55k) lookin for a loose one, I've got new ball joints, I checked the exhaust and exhaust hangers, fuel tank, brake lines, sway bar... I'm thinking it might be the carrier bearing??? The u-joints seem to be in good shape, 85K miles on the beastie, just went out of extended warranty (of course!) on 8/11... got any ideas??

i know you said you thought it was under the cab but check the bubber bushings holding the sway bar to the axle. if they move at all replace them. i am not talking about the sway bar links that go up to the frame but the bushings on the front axle. might be the prob.
