Some addl info....is your truck a long bed or short bed? makes a dfference in the caps..

call and ask for Dave Cooper he had a set of short bed caps at the supernationals that i was tempted to purchase 513-731-3304

Gren's prices from my experience are on the high side, but if you need it, you need it...I saw the bed cap on ebay too...you happen to see if the 67-up type went that high ???

Good luck....cs65

What are the differences between long and short bed 1/4 ends?
I have a rust free shorty I'm fixing to chop the bed ends off of. I need the right side for my long bed. Maybe I oughta get out the measuring tape.

The body drop line is about 1.25 inch lower on a long bed verses a short bed due to the added footage to the bed.

Tom, Sorry to outbid you on that panel but you only missed winning it by one dollar if you looked at the list of bidders on that panel (I beleive we were the only one's bidding if I'm not mistaken). Green's also has that same panel and emailed a cost back to me saying they wanted $125.00 for it without the shipping charge so I bid as close as I could without going over Green's price since I could actually see what I was buying before I bought it. I did check and Green's does have both long bed ends in stock but I did not compare the prices on them so you might want to email them and check on the price for the set if you want. I checked on the winning bid on the 67 model and it only went up to $64.95 and I beleive only had one bid on it. (Your parts number for the long bed models would be: C1TB-66278A66-B and C1TB-66278A67-B if you would like to check on them yourself.) Don't worry, I hate ebay also because it is just too addictive to bid on things that you may never use but think you must have at the time. Good luck. Lewis

Well, I guess I got a pair of rust free short bed end caps off of a California truck for a Uni that I won't be using.
You're right, garbz2, the body line is different between a shorty and a longbed. Not as much as you would think though. After some measuring the body line is only about a 1/4" off. Bummer.

Highboy4x4..I know what you mean by adictive..my son and i are doing a 61 uni together.i bought it from a guy i work with..looked pretty good when i bought it.got it home and noticed alot of stuff hidden under tar and a rubber mat.i have pics of it in my gallery.figured we would strip it all down.GOSH!!bondo everywhere.lol..both tail light panels looked like they were beat with a sledge hammer.they were actualy made out of bondo..anyway you probably did me a favor but i am also sorry i ran them up that high.we are on a budget and only ment to go to $100.00 but kept thinking maby $5.00 more and we might win so i ended up going higher than i wanted.dang ebay..lol.anyway,nice to meet you and if you see anymore on ebay that your not going to bid on,give me a shout..Tom

CS

Use some card board and make a pattern...Take it to the local tinnocker shop and have them bend it up. they are a simple pan.

The bronco 66 to 77 end caps are similar enough to the 64 66 that they can be slightly reworked.
