Question on how to remove the shifter from a 1975 F-250 with the "granny" 4-speed. Does in unscrew from the top of the transmission, or do I drive out a pin, or ???. I want to remove the lever so I can paint it, but I'm not sure how it comes off.
If its a T18 unscrew the retainer, A NP435 push the retainer down and turn it.
