Turning off and on the automatic headlights did the trick. No problems since.

What are the automatic headlights? You mean just the lights off and on?

Thanks

The headlights have the setting where they turn on when it gets dark. I switched this off and on.

On the left side of the steering column is a **** with 4 settings. From left to right - auto / off / running lights / on. At least that is how it is on my 04 Limited.

So after all these years has anyone figured out the underlying problem? Our 03 6.0 X just did this today. We also lost our power seats once and currently our center console that displays (I assume) the temp and direction of travel doesn't work. I would think that all these things work in conjunction. If anyone has found the part that causes the AC to go out sporadically please post up. Thanks!

AJ
