MAP sensor stuck at 2.53V
Finally got around to checking my MAP sensor cause been running rough for a few months. I did the tests as outlined in Haynes. My voltage is stuck at 2.53V with keyon engine off. I apply vacuum to the sensor and it doesnt budge. I know some sensors need a tachometer and i got one on my voltmeter but its just gives readings way off from what Haynes says anyway so I assume mine is the voltage one.
This would explain why is runs crappy at low throttle, good at mid throttle and a bit crappy atreally high speeds. I think the measurements should be 5V at no vacuum then 1V or so at hight vacuum(20inHG)
Would also explain the 15MPG highway and 8MPG city maybe.
Do these things default somewhere in the middle when busted.?
Should I replace it?
Im still not sure this is the problem.

I still dont know why Haynes is wrong.
All i can think of is its a tach output and my tachometer sucks or im doing it wrong.
