I just got a great deal on a 1976 or 1977 with a 4 speed and a 460 for 2500 bucks. The bodies solid and the paint isnt bad. Its an original F-150 explorer. My question is though would i change the front clip to 79 to match my 78 custom and 79 bronco xlt or should i keep it different?
and yea everyone and their brother with a 73-79 truck has a 79 grille in theirs, i always thought boy ford made alot of 79s but i think theres more 73-77 trucks with the grille then actual 79's
Not only that you would have to drill holes in your hood for the FORD script, unless you were to run without which would be a disgrace
I like the older style alot better, I put the older one on my 78 crewcab and my 79 bronco, the bronco gets alot of attention with it, people always think it is a 77.
