I just checked the check engine light EEC code and discovered the trouble code was 657, Transmission over temperature condition occurred. Does any one have any suggestions for solving the problem, besides changing the transmission fluid? Or is that all I really need to do.

 

Change the fluid and filter, make sure the level is correct. If that doesn't cure it you might need a tranny cooler. That or a sensor is starting to go.
