I have a 1994 ranger with power windows, doors locks, mirrors, -which I am having a problem with the drivers window switch and door lock control on the dirvers side not working but, the window control and mirrors for the passenger side operating fine (locate on the drivers side). It would probably be easiest just to replace the whole set of controls in the master switch panel-- My question is does anyone know what years will fit. I already know that the 1995 will not ,as it includes the hand grab and the 1994 does not. Just thought someone maybe with parts experience might know which years will also work. Thanks as always!!!
You should try a junkyard first. You can probably pick up the switch assembly dirt cheap. And while you are there you can then ask them which years fit your '94, so even if they don't have a part you want, you have the info.
But even before that, pull the switch assembly off and look it over. It may be as simple as dirty or corroded pins/connections. Get some CRC electrical contact cleander and compressed air blow it clean. Have your DMM available so you can check for voltage when the switches are activated.
