Question Free-Wheelin'

Does anyone know if you still can get the free-wheelin' stripe package? If so could you please tell me where I can get them. I am going to restore a 78 Ford Free-Wheelin' pick-up. Thanks.

I have a 1978 ford f-250 withthe freewheelign package and I have been looking for the stripes also. There was a guy on here that said he had a set and I wanted to buy them off of him but he never replyed after that. I dont know what happened to him. I have been looking for the same stripes also because I want to restore mine to orignal also.

You might try looking into the aftermarket catalogs. There is a couple of outfits out there that makes replacement vinyl for cars like the firebirds, etc.
They might be able to make those Free-wheeling decals. Just an idea.

You might also check with a sign shop or someone who does OTR truck lettering. They could probably duplicate a vinyl strip package pretty easy.

You could probably find one with the decals in the gallery. Might take a while to find though.

Also you could try looking for a sales brochure for the year of your truck. could help you as well.

It would give a place that can duplicate them, an idea to start from anyway.

Hope this helps.

Old decals won't work because they have a very short shelf life. They dry up, crack, and shrink. Sign shops can sometimes duplicate them tho.
