Fan Motor problems

Hi...the dash fan (A/C, etc.) stopped working today, for some reason...under the dash, I can't find any fuses that seem to be fried...the A/C still works, but only through the defroster vents, etc...it even changes speeds when I change the setting on the control, but still nothing out of the panel vents...any suggestions?

thanks for any help, y'all!

Its all one motor. Check to see if you have broken a vacuum line under the hood. Been working under there lately?

Yes, if it's blowing air, it's not the fan. It will be an air door control that is broke. Some trucks had a combination of mechanical cables and vacuum operated air doors. I can't remember what did what, but some of the doors do have vacuum lines with little diaphram actuators on them.

There is also the possiblity you have no vacuum on the system at all, and it's at a default position. On my truck they have a little distribution tree on the firewall where the HVAC system gets it's source of vacuum from the engine.
