Question wheres the connector?

Hi all,

i got a code reader for my 88 f150 351w auto i must not be to bright i cant find the connector to hook up the code reader......
thanks for any help with this.....
sorry if its a dumb question.....

you should find it on the drivers side next to the hood spring/hinge assembly on the fire wall aka fender well ....it was there on my pops 87 f150 and it is also located there on my 95 f150 ..black in color with a cap may be installed upside down or right side up..you'll also see the spout connector in the same area as it shares the harness....and your PCM aka ECM is also located on the drivers side near the hood hinge...
