Hey guys, what's up ?, I just thought i should let you guys see some spy pics of the new Expedition. This happens to be the extended version and looks nice. Enjoy http://www.mikekukielka.com/gallery/Ford-Everest?page=1
oh, and i think this one will kick the competion's @$$!!!, especially the interior.
Someone here thinks they have been having a quiet word to Land Rover regarding interiors though (that high centre console looks pretty similar to a Discovery)
It is about time Ford had a half ton SUV of length/size to compete with Suburban. The interior looks very much like the F150. I hope it is made of quality looking and feeling materials. It does look very "square" or "edgy", but it looks very nice. While I HATE camoflage (which it does it's job very well), I am guessing it will be an F150/SUV, which will look very nice.
IMHO, that means nothing to me if there is not an I4 or I5 Diesel of some sort under the hood. If an I6 is what they are hiding, even better, but I was hoping someone would have at least brought that up by now.....
Seeing that only "modest" increases for CAFE are being brought forward, I am doubting that....
Why someone would NOT take pictures through ALL the windows is beyond me. People want to know about the rear lengthening! What else is going on in there besides a center mounted gear shift?
And no close up of the gear selector?? (good spot by F-150XLT )
And what!? No pictures of underneath? I can see it still rides on IRS but pictures would be better. How 'bout a picture of the exhaust? It could give us an idea of what is powering it? Or even of the bottom of the engine...that might tell if it is a 3V 5.4L or something new.
I mean c'mon! If YOU saw that truck all camoflauged out in a parking lot and had an expensive digital camera would YOU take 10 out of the 14 pics of various angles of black vinyl??
These pics were taken and posted by an insider to judge the "internet hype" of the truck.
I got spy shots once of the new Kia SUV that was out in camo on the 101 just south of Camarillo. I happened to be going on vacation at the time, so I had the camera handy. Once those guys saw the flash of my camera go off, they tried everything that they could to get away, but I was in a Crown Vic so there's no way a Kia SUV was outrunning me. Perhaps the tester came out and scared the cameraperson away? That, or whoever took the pictures was just a chicken. Personally, I would have waited for the tester to open the door so I could get a really good shot.
Hey, if you're testing a car out on a publice road and park it in a public parking lot, then you have to know that people will be taking pics of you. Period. Deal with it. If you don't want pics taken, then don't drive it on the road.
BTW, where is the driver? Did they run in to run an errand? Why would you take a development vehicle out to do that?
I'm not knocking ya, Fastback, that's a good find, but it just sems too good to be true.
