F150 1979
Hi Guys, thank you so much for the help with the wiring, i really appreciated it. By the way I did get the gauges to work. I now have a new problem in that the entire line of gauges and interior lights are flashing as though they were blinkers instead of straight power. So I would love to get some thoughts from anyone on this. I would really like to report a perfectly running vehicle to all of you soon.In the mean time I intend to work on tuning and timing if any one has advise on either of theese things it would be greatly appreciated as well. Alittle history on the truck is that my boyfriend bought it when he was 16, he and his friends rebuilt the majority of the body and a little minor engine and exaust work. It is a F150 custom reg cab, short bed, with a 400. Now that he has me who has driven nothing but ford since i started driving we are having a great time working onthis together. I have a little more knowlege than he does in the mechanical department. He on the other hand knows more about body work than I ever will. The truck was in a wreck when he was about 17, so it has been sitting for about 3 years. garage kept of course. Slowly being rebuilt. Please send me your input!!
What climate has this truck been in most of its life?
