Sure there's probably others vendors local.. But try here for a description/image.. http://www.leedobbs.com/rcap1.html I see a potential problem though, at least for me, being that if you happen to let someone use your rig (never happen!!) and you forget to give up the combo. or tell them were its written on the truck and it leaves with low fuel.. LIKE ANYONE is going to fill your truck for you/me at over 3.10 a gallon!!! OR just can't remember the numbers period!! Sometimes I have to really think for just my ATM PIN.. A keyed lock/cap at least has the key with the trucks key..
Does ford make a keyed locking gas cap for the 05 diesels? I have an aftermarket one on there now that the dealer put on, its a paint though because you have to leave the key in it to take it off and its just a pain to fight the keys while turning the cap.
A year or so ago, I went to Ford also for a OEM cap, hoping for a stout quality unit, and they had trouble identifying between 'cam lock' and 'screw in' cap as they didn't have a listing for the 6.0 application.. I'm not absolutely sure but don't think they have one available for the 6.0. as of yet. The 'NAPA' 703-2014 unit is removed with the KEY OUT and is decent quality.. But, you lose the cap retainer/line from the OEM unit.

Combo's aren't really a bad idea, but things like bad lighting/nightime making it difficult to open without a light, as with all our gate locks and such.. Exposed to the eliments, sometimes they tend to stick (especially if not lubed) and not releasing the locking mechanism is somewhat common with a roller type lock.. Maybe someone else here has one and can give a better account of use...

So does the napa one work with the 6.0? It should fit just fine since that part of the truck didnt change. I dont have a tether already, so thats not a big deal, they are a good way to scratch up the paint. My Dodge has a neat little holder on the fuel door, very handy. The tether kinda sucks.
To unlock, all you do is turn the key 1/4 turn clockwise AND back and pull it out, and unscrew the cap.. You can also just turn the key 1/4 turn clockwise and leave in if you like.. When locking, just tighten the cap until you hear '3' clicks.. If you don't get the 3 clicks it stays as an OEM cap, and can be removed without the key..
yeah, i got one. It works much better. I can turn the key, unlock, and then remove it before taking the cap off. Then it locks by itself when it clicks 3 times. MUCH better design.
