Hey everybody,new user here.
I have a 1994 F150.Recently the door alarm started buzzing constantly while I was driving. When I shut off the engine,the dome and cargo lights stayed on,so I removed the bulbs. I noticed that the drivers side door jamb switch was stuck in,so like an idiot I pulled it back out with pliers.The alarm stopped buzzing,however now my speedometer and odometer aren't working,and crazy as it sounds,the transmission started shifting hard and slipping. I don't know if these problems are related or not,but they all started the same time. I installed a new door jamb switch from Auto Zone,but it didn't help. Has anyone ever heard of this kind of problem? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
