WHEN I GO TO PUT IT IN DRIVE OR REVERSE FROM PARKING EVERY NOW AND THEN IT WILL SPUTTER LIGHTLY. ALMOST LIKE IT MISSED GEAR OR THE MOTOR MOUNT BEING LOOSE.... CURIOUS BECAUSE THIS VEHICLE i JUST BOUGHT A FEW DAYS AGO IT ONLY HAS 6,000 MILES ON IT I REALLY CAN'T HAVE ANOTHER POS VEHICLE PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO I CAN GIVE THE MECHANIC SOME IDEAS AS TO WHAT IT MIGHT BE
That's what it sounds like to me.. does it "slam" into gear?
When you have ford warranty the repair make sure they add the transmission additive, as they had some solenoids react to the transmission fluid. The additive will prevent this from happening.
no but when I first start it up it sounds like something drops.... and the shaking/studder/sputtering happened alittle worst yesterday when I was backing in up. Don't know if it has something to do with wheels(something connected maybe) or the tranny but the way everyone is talking it could very well be the tranny... i can't believe this is a problem in a vehicle that has only 6,000 miles on it.
it sat at the dealers for 7 hours and they insisted that they didnt find a problem and i even suggested all of the stuff i found on this site.... its still doing it' but obviously it didn't do it for them that day.
they say everything is normal now i have clicking noises going on in my truck they said it was the a/c but i know it doesn't click numerous times at the same air blowing speed
