I have had my bronco for going on 6 years now, In Wisconsin, every other year it has to pass a emisions test, and like clockwork it always need a oxygen sensor to get it to pass, It is getting close to the time to take it threw again, so i scanned it for codes, and i am getting a code 41 (R) again. In the 6 years I have owned the truck i have gone threw 10 oxygen sensors, a few years back I had to put new injectors and a fuel pressure regulator, I wanted to know what else could cause this other than a bad fuel pressure regulator, It would'nt be impossible that I got a bad one 3 years ago, and i have no problem trying another one, but I would like to know what else could be causing this to happen

O2 sensors are part of a regular tune up on these vehicles. I replace mine every two years. about 20K.
A code 41 is running too rich. A bad O2 sensor can cause that. The more it gets plugged up with exaust fumes, the the o2 sensor tells the computer to pump the gas to it.
It's like trying to smell a flower with a plugged up nose.
The computers nose is plugged up so it's creating more gas fumes to sniff, hence causing it's nose to plug up even more.
