7.3 exhast

i am planning o droping in a 7.3 non turbo in my 82 truck I have a with a true dual and was wanting to know should I Y the exhast or true dual before i dual to my stacks?

you wouldn't have to, but a balance tube wouldn't be a bad idea...

The only thing about true duals is getting around the fuel tank with the drivers side pipe.

To Y or Not

Is there any advantage to having a "Y" ???

if you use large enough pipe, it flows well and the exhaust pulses will help with scavenging, just like headers.Just need large enough pipe after they merge to make it worthwhile. I still run single exhaust on mine, and it runs real strong since I changed the outlet pipe to 3.25".

Ok well I don't worry with the tank. To get a better idea look at my picture the only difference I plan on making is the engine.
