Myself and family will attend. Let us know what type of dish you want us to bring and give me a location.

No other suggestions?

Alright then. . .

I received this email back today from the state park:

"Mr. Minnich,

A small shelter is $30 a half day, or $50 a day. Reservations are made by calling the state park reservation center at 1-800-933-PARK. There are over 100 picnic tables in the open picnic area, which do not require a reservation and are first come, first serve. The area is wooded and shady, and this might be a good option for you if you have a small group.

There should be a link to fees on our state park websight - www.dcr.virginia.gov/parks

Thanks for your interest - and we hope to see your group soon.

Louise Woolard
POcahontas State Park"

Plenty of free picnic tables, lots of room, parking reguires a small charge. Might need to bring a grill just incase. They also have a campground, for those fo you who want to camp out, swimming and nature trails. Lets set this thing for Sunday the 2nd of October. Will start a new thread just for dicussing whos coming and bringing what tommorrow night after class.

OK, the weekend is almost over and I am still the only one that has posted on Steve's thread.

I hope this time there will be more representation as we had quite a good time at the last meet. Be sure to bring a football! Nevermind, I'll throw one in the truck. Anybody got some 'shoes?' (as in horse?)
