last night when i was coming home it started to rain and i turned on my windshield wipers they were working fine for about ten minutes and then they started stoping in mid wipe and then starting again and then they would almost jump like they were gettin power and then not and then getting power again........could this be a wiring problem? or maybe the wiper motor? any help would be apreciated
try to clean the contact points in the intermitant switch may have gotten dirty... and check the connector at the motor itself and clean the contacts there
This satarted happening to my truck. I have a 91 F150 Lariat extendedcab 302. The wipers would work shortly then stop on any setting. The intermiten wipers now dont work and neither does the low speed wipers and even when they are on high they spor after ten minuets or so. I cant figure this out. Im gonna tackel this problem on the weekend. I think its the motor or a black control box ive heard about somewhere. Ill let you know how I do.
