Arrow Front end question

I found a 1979 front end dana44 for $300 complet brakes to brakes. And it also includes anything i want such as radius arms tir rodes thing like that, is that a bad price. It has 350 gears to. I can get the 9'' Rear end for the same price to. My next question is i read that you can just blot the 79 right in a 91 f150 useing the 79 coils and useing the 91 top coil buckits no welding or anything, is that true. And for the 91 f150 what all do i want to grab off the truck i am getting a 9 inch lift from jackit.com so will i need the coils or just the linkages and tierods and the axle.

$300 for a D44 with anything you need/want? I'd say its a good price, if it was being sold in my area, has been pulled, and its what you want. Area plays a big part in what somethings worth (supply, demand). Is it in good condition, or is it verifiable junk? Grab what ever you can, even if you don't think you'll need it. Radius arms, brackets, springs, buckets, shocks/towers, trac bar/frame bracket, all steering linkages, brake lines, drive shaft if you can manage, and all nuts & bolts Better to have too much, then not enough.

Not going to get into the swap itself, never attempted it, but many others have. Do a search here, you'll have a ton of hits for "SAS"

for the rear 300 seems a bit high (like i picked up a compete disk rear axle of a lincoln for 100 bucks and that was with all the bake components under the hood), your best bet to find a cheap 9" is to look under 2wd 80-86 trucks, if i remember correctly all trucks past 83 had 31 spline big bearing 9" axles, to be sure you get the right ratio just grab an owners manual from a truck between those years and look up the axle codes. I know that the LS rear axle codes are fairly simple, the axle code on the door jam stocker will be a letter (this determines the load rating, higher in the alphabit it is the higher weight rating it has) followed by a 9, which mean its 3.50's or a 5 which is a 4.10 geared axle.
