Tranny ID - AOD?
Hi All,
I know that this question has been asked a million times (and I have searched the site for the answer), but here goes anyway:
I have a 1991 F-150, 5.0L, 2WD, Reg Cab. The tranny pan has 14 bolts and the sticker on the door hase the code "T" under transmission. The shift pattern on the column is P-R-N-OD-D-1.
I want to change the fluid and need to know which tranny I have so that I can get the right gasket and filter.
With the info that I have gathered, I believe that it is an AOD, but I cant seem to find what tranny the "T" on the door sticker refers to. The vehicle was built and first sold in Canada (ie: the spedo is in Kms/h etc), so maybe that has something to do with it?
Any help would be appreciated.

I was pretty sure that it was an AOD (shift pattern, # of bolts, TV linkage). I just hadn't been able to find a reference to the T code (until a few minutes ago, when I took the time to read how to tighten the search parameters in FTE's forum search engine).
