Gas refund?
Does anybody know about gasrefund.com? Is this a scam? It is hard to get through the site. They say you pay the first $1.50 per gal. for the gas or fuel and they pay the rest, up to 200 gallons per month. Thanks for any info.

more than likely a scam
I couldnt find any info on the compant, but i did find this http://www.becomethemedia.com/wordpress/?p=260 so I would steer clear of them.

I found it. I wouldn't go for it myself, but I am checking it out real quick...
"Membership requirements include the completion* of one sponsor offer from group 1, two sponsor offers from group 2, and six sponsor offers from group 3. *For credit card offers, you must activate your card by making a purchase, transferring a balance, or making a cash advance. Please note that you may complete only one Discover® Card application as part of this offer."
So, you probably have to buy something to get $18 big bills of go juice. I am just guessing, from running a business myself, that the amount you get back will be less than what you put in.
Sort of like buying a $40K SUV and hoping the stealership gives a free tank of gas to boot.
Oh, if you all don't see it again, it's for $150/month/1 year when you do as I quoted....
Well, I give up. All I am doing is turning down loads of ad offers. No surprise to me, but some of you all who get anxious over this might want to know.
