I dont know exactly how the powerstroke injectors work, maybe you could help me.
I have a 2002 F-350 w/7.3L powerstroke. My SES light is on and I get a code that tells me that there are codes detected in the IDM and when I do a contribution test, my scanner tells me that "cyl. #4, high to low side open". The truck runs great, but since I dont know the sequence of operation for the injector to fire, I dont know where to look first.
The low is ground hi is power from idm. This hi is steped up to 115 volts by the idm. The ground is a common to all the injectors in that head. In the connector the 4 wired to the glow plugs are the first 2 and last 2 the very center wire is ground the other 4 are power wires the each injrctor.
