interior question on a 1979 custom

I just purchased a 1979 shortbox 4wd truck, my question is does anyone know anything about a " midas touch " interior? its got bucket seats with a fold down console a plaid headliner and a padded vinyl headliner combo even around the dome light and above on the door frame, **** carpet even on the kick panels. between the sunvisors it has a tag that says " the midas touch specially designed for " theres supposed to be a name there but its missing, so my question was this a factory option or an after market?

interior question on a 1979 custom

It's an aftermarket 'conversion'. I have a 79 "Leisure Truck" and it had **** rugs and aftermarket seats. That was big back then. My **** rugs were held down with about two handfuls of screws. Ther were everywhere. After I took out the carpet and the seats, it looked like someone had fire a shotgun in the cab. There were holes everywhere. I filled them with windshield urethane and installed the corect carpets and some bucket seats out of an Explorer. It looks a lot better now. It had a big wide tape stripe on the hood and down the side, too. I'm still trying to get it off.
