I had a pair of Wranglers 13MWZ's once... but my legs are just too big for them compared to the waist. Same with Levi's 501's... my thighs will be squeezed in to them, but the crotch will be too tight to button and the waist too loose.

Levi's 560's fit just right. The waist is perfect at 32, lenght perfect at 34. They taper slightly as they go down... fit perfect. If only they came with a button fly...

I like Carharts dungarees the most for working, the carpenter jeans with the side pockets on the legs are handy to throw a phone in or a pair of channle locks, wire cutters or a screwdriver or two. Several times I have had more tools in the side pockets than in my toolbag on my side.

For wearing jeans I like regular fit Wranglers or their carepnter jeans.

Also for working the Wrangler work wear jeans are tough! But I don't like their fit as much as I do the Carharrt fit.

Wrangler's for me, too. Used to wear nothing but13MWZ's. I'm a big guy, though, and I discovered Wrangler Rugged Wear jeans - I really like the way they fit, but they're a lighter denim than the cowboy cuts. I've got a couple of pairs of the 31MWZ's (loose fit cowboy cut) and I like them alot. I imagine that's what I'll buy next time. Some of you guys that weren't comfortable in 13MWZ's might find them to your liking.

Current occupants of my jeans drawer:

2 pair Wrangler's 13MWZ. One faded and patched, one brand new (bought to wear to a wedding last Sat.)

1 pair of Dickie's, still in that "new blue" color and so only worn for "good"

1 pair Levi's 501's, washed so many times they are a sort of robin's egg blue color. Worn usually to my job in town.

2 pairs of Key jeans, cost about $10 each. One pair for good, one for everyday.

1 pair of Dickie's work jeans, brown color. Has the hammer loop and side pocket. Pretty handy, but once they got washed they shrank a bit in places.

and 1 pair of Wrangler Rugged Wear in camo... don't ask me, I have no idea.

Frick Carhart!

Git old blue jeans, and put patches on them.

OR get real work pants.

I haven't worn real blue jeans in years, they got to become a cult thing and cost too much.

Cheap slacks from Walmart last long enough before replacements. Dickies are the best work clothes you could want to have - a little scotch guard in the right places and they are perfect every day.

If you wear Carharts around were I am from - it means only one thing:

YOU GET PAID TOO MUCH, AND PREFER TO SHOW OFF.

Get real....

REAL MEN WEAR LEVI'S

"LEVI STRAUSS - the FIRST, the BEST, and the ONLY!!!!"

Shame on you....

"LEVI'S" are:
"Built for the gold mining country"

Git out there and be an individualist, or kiss my fuzzy behind....

There ya GO!!!

If you were not such a one-up-ist you could have had a well fitting pair of jeans that cost a lot less....

And the Levis head office was here in the city. As a matter of fact, I think they were invented here and also made here (49er gold rush).

Not anymore. Made overseas now.

I used to play tennis with the old man himself, Ben Davis.

He either died of old age or must be in his 90s+.

I wait for sales, then buy. Sales are not too often though, for work clothes.

Ha, favorite work Pants, over alls.

Favorite Jeans, Levi 501 for play( the girls love em) and Levi's 505 for work, 38 waist 34 length. They fit right and fit over both pairs of my cowboy boots and my Cat boots.

My girls butt looks good in a pair of Levi's or wranglers, as long as their tight.

It's hot and at home i wear my Levi 501 shorts, yup custom made. And they have gotten me through tough times, the front of both thieghs are wore right down to the white stringy stuff.

I wore them to school and got a girl to actually say, Hey i can see you boxers from the outside. That's when they get taken off of school duty.

Overalls rock when it's not too hot out.
