Winter Fronts

Been thinking about one of these winterfront things like on the big trucks for the winter here in NE. Question 1: Are they worth it? and 2 who makes the best ones? Have looked a a couple leaning toward the quilted one but if anyone has any info/comments they would be much appricited

You don't say what year you have, but, For the Old Body Style I use a Lund Cold Front. It is a set of snap-in lexan shields that block the openings in the grill. Works great up yo about 60*, then I remove it and replace with a Lund Screen Front. Can be bought from JC Whitney.

I had one of those Lund winter fronts, and I liked it until I took it out in the spring and it broke the plastic honeycombs on the sides of the main grill. They snap in tight and probably will damage your grill when removed.
I put a S.S. Putco tube grill on mine so now I just run without one. truck heats up just fine!
