I just recently (two months ago) bought a 1966 ford F100. I have done some minor work on the interior and the engine. But the engines have been switched. The second owner installed a 1977 302. I am in the slow process of restoring it. I am looking for some pictures of the original interior and exterior for one of these trucks. If someone could help me locate some or has some on their computer could you send to me. My e-mail is adamsherrick@hotmail.com, you should label it something with 1966 in the title becuase I recieve too much junk mail and I delete it. Thanks for taking your time and reading this.

I also have a 66 and I highly recommend getting catalogs from NPD and LMC. Both companies have excellent catalogs that use lots of original ford diagrams. They are a huge help for how things fit and they give you an idea of what you can and cannot get replacement parts for in your year. Google them and you should get hits for online ordering of the catalogs.
Welcome to the forum. My '66 also came with a swapped 289/302. Since I'm hot rodding it I was happy. I saw a beautiful '65 that was perfectly restored the other day though - what a truck! Good luck.
I've got a uh, very original, '66 F-100 regular cab. Looks like your's (like mine) is not a Custom Cab, even though your's seems to have some super-secret custom side mouldings . I can hook you up with some pictures. Message me with your e-mail and I'll do it up. Is there any area of the cab you are particularly interested in? Searching the galleries here is another fine way to get an idea of what was stock and not. You may have some trouble nailing down exactly what was and was not stock on your truck since options and trim levels varied not to mention some options were dealer installed. If you're lucky the build sheet for your truck may still be stuck under the springs under your seat. That sheet will tell you everything about the truck as long as the serial number matches your truck serial number (thanks to FBP for that little gem of a piece of info!) Others will be along with more help I imagine...
Your truck looks good, the side picture is a little dark, but looks kind of like what I did to my 66 4x4. Mine was not a cuctem cab, but I wanted a tu-tone paint job. So my painter took my 66 2wd that is a CC and matched the way that Ford had done them and shot the 4x4 with and green and gray. Where the two colors come togather he painted a silver strip on, I have none of the crome pieces to put on.
