SORRY...but one more time ...PLEASE?
Done a search and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for so will ask the question thats been asked a million times. Need to do the driveline lube mod on my 02 to take out the "clunk" that happens when I pull away from a stop light. Looked at it and I suppose you have to cut the band off where the rubber boot is..is this right? No way to salvage it? You only need to drop one end of the driveshaft so am I correct that I only need to remove the front end? Apply a special grease on the splines or just a good quality grease? Last, if you have to destroy the band, replace it with a nylon ty strap or a hose clamp? Sorry for this pain in the a$$ question but have put this off long enought. Thanks
