is that the cheapest SL-rated motor oil, and the biggest piece of crap oil filter (that still meets OEM specs) changed every 5000 miles or so will get your engine easily to 150,000 miles.


they have not made sl oil in 8 months now it is now all SM rated.which has some serious issues for older flat tappet cam enignes.

Even better. 175,000 miles.

I am sure that SM oil does not work very well in some early-1900 Allis-Chalmers steam tractors either, but not many people drive those.
