Converting engine over to synthetic oil

Converting engine over to synthetic oil
I just looked at my dealers paperwork and when they changed the oil, they used motorcraft 10w-30 synthetic blend oil.
I want the engine on 100 percent synthetic oil. I am an amsoil peferred customer, and a BG products dealer.
First off, is running 5w-30 oil okay year around? Looking at my manual, it appears that way.
Second ? do you guys that run full synthetic still do the oil changes every 5k miles.?
Thirdly, anyone have a recommendation on amsoil versus BG?
My plan is to do the front and rear ends, transfer case, and transmission in all synthetic by the summer.

Thanks!
Im thinking about adding some chrome window visors, and some chrome tail light cover things. Possibly adding the chrome rocker door covers as well. May be a little bit old school, seems like the blackout thing is in now.
I run mobil one synthetic in my car, seems like a good oil. I get blackstone labs analysis on it every oil change, and im up to 8k between changes.
