Wheels & Tires question, 2005 Ranger
I got the jones for a new truck, probably gonna get a new Ranger, maybe another Edge, but I'd really like an XLT with a 4.0. Problem is I don't care for those stock 15's. So I just got a few questions as I'm pretty ingorant about rims and tires, I've pretty much always been one to buy a truck with factory rims I liked.
1. Whats the bolt pattern on an 05 4x2? Is it 5 x 5.5?
2. What width to I need? 8, 9, or 10? I want a little sidewall to stick out if possible, but I don't want a lot. Also what height would be safe, I'd like to go with 17's if possible, at least 16's.
3. I checked Tirerack.com but didn't care for much I saw. Know anywhere else to look.
Thanks for any replies in advance, you guys are great.
Oh yeah, any linkies with pics would be great, email them if you'd like.

I'm not positive on the width (for the effect you want - most factory rims are 15x7), but Ford Rangers, Explorers, Bronco IIs, Aerostars, and V-8 Mustangs (as well as Jeep Wranglers, CJ-x's, Cherokees, and Commanches) use 5 on 4-1/2 bolt-pattern Rear Wheel Drive rims. *I have run Jeep Wrangler rims on a Ranger with no problems at all before.
