ok i went to wal mart today to buy some of the halogen bulbs to get a cleaner look on the lights.... put them in and couldnt tell a difference at night.... then i went back to walmart and got the silver star lights, figuring that since they were like $40 that they would make a big difference.... they also look like regular old headlights. any1 have any idea what the problem could be/how i could get it to look cleaner. i dont really have any of the yellow buildup in the lenses either.
thanks
Jesse
i put silverstars in my vette and my subaru and noticed a big difference. in my f150 they are so bright i never used anything but stock halogens. the design of the light is efficient and i blind enough people anyway.
well can you tell a difference in the daytime like if you are just looking at them?
i took those back because they werent halogen i guess and got the halogen kind and they look like they have the yellowish color to them still.
well for sure i have silver stars in... just went and bought them
but when i turn the lights on and its daytime like it is now the lights still give off a yellowish color still... can you only tell at night or what?
both sets of my silverstars always look white. i just went out and turned on my truck lites and it is daytime and they look white. how do your lenses look? mine on my truck are perfectly clear and they are the original 94 lenses i believe.
I have some Extreme Blue Silverstars(more blue than Cool Blue) and they still appear yellowish during the day. At night though, they are extremely "clean" looking. Its weird when your driving around and everyone elses headlights are yellowish looking.
So, they will still look yellowish during the day. The real difference with these bulbs is at night.
