After reading through a lot of the posts.... I still have a question. I have a 1966 F-250 2wd with a stock 352. My dad had a 72 f150 with a 390 police interceptor in it. I now want to build my 352 into a police interceptor, but can not find answers as to what I need to do to make the upgrade. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
What year 352PI? The 58-59 352PI was the same 300hp version that was in tbirds and higher end full size cars. 60 was the first "police use only" 352PI with 330hp. The 352HP upped the deal to 360hp over the PI but was a hipo engine and not used in police applications. 61 or 62 introduced the 390PI which has changes over the years. I think it was 64 when all the 390PI engines were upgraded to the better crank and rods. 66 is when the 428PI engines came into play. So.......a little more info please.....

Well then maybe a aluminum PI intake. Blue thunder makes a nice repop or originals are avaliable on ebay or some of the engine forums in the classifeds. Carls Ford parts or DSC are both BT dealers and also sell some OEM intakes. As far cam goes I'll see what specs I can find unless someone can chime in on that. Any 64 and later 390 crank and rods will do the trick there. The C6AE-R heads were a 66 352 only and would be good if you have those but let us know what heads you have. The number is between the center two spark plugs on the head. There were quite a few 352 heads listed for a 66. G.
They also might be C6TE-G heads which are pretty much identical to the C6AE-R's. The C6TE-G's are common to 66-67 engines and have the 8 bolt vertical exaust pattern. Small valves and lowriser style like the earlier C1 and C4 castings. Can't remember exactly but the heat crossover passage might be in the middle. If blocked no worries. If used have to match a C6TE or similar intake for heat crossover. So take a better look. Sometimes the C can look like a G.
ffr.... it is a CT6EG.... the engine was still hot when I checked the first time.... any ideas on the cam???
