Dumping Filter Bowl

This should be an easy one. When I sump the fuel filter bowl, how can I catch the exiting fuel. I hate to dump it on the engine and it runs all over the place. Thanks.

I have a piece of plastic tubing that comes off the drain. I extend it down far enough that it can reach a coffee can. I open the drain & it flows into the can. Then when I'm done I tuck all the excess tubing into the frame rail to keep it out of the way. I will try to get a pic, but the best way is to follow the steel drain pipe until you see the end (you will need a drop light). The way you route the tubing is up to you, but this way works well and is very clean. Nobody will ever notice the tubing (except for people like us who are always looking for a better way of doing things). Good luck.

Thanks underp2. I saw the tube but I can't believe it isn't longer and that it dumps on the engine. I'll have to extend it.
