So what do you get when you have a friend with a decent tract of land, another that is the GM of the local Ford dealer?
The PBR 500 of course. Originally scheduled to coincide with the Indy 500. It is now going on twice a year. Combine a dirt track out in the field and 10 or so $100 cars and you have yourself a race.
I never realized how fun it would be just to take a car and have all the rubbin, pushin, fun that NASCAR provides. This does take place in a rural area but it sure enough stops traffic.
I'm afraid to even post this, becuase it is so much fun I'm afraid we'll end up with a shortage of 'field cars'.
