Bellhousing

Fellows I need some help.I need to know what this bell housing came out of.On the transmission mounting surface numbers C5TA-7505-B,date 7F7has a large W on the same surface,also I would like to know how this cam would perform-lift 506,dur 315,@.050 224,btc 3,abc 41,bbc 47, atc -3,lobe spread 112 cam lift .293.Any help would really be appreciated.

the bellhousing is for a 65 truck.

390 cu in bored 30 over, TRW flat top pistons,D2 heads 2.09 intake 1.55 exhaust with Exhaust ported +polished all the way out,FPA headers,cam 506 lift,315 dur,224 @.050,original Ford tripower,4.11 rear gears with 4 speed toploader.

Well I had a cam similar to that....and it was in a big block brand X motor....I couldnt get it to Idle below 1000rpm...I had a 3500 stall behind it with a TB400 and a locker with 4.11's out back...and it ran like a raped ape!! LOL...

Thax for the info on the cam I still got the engine on the stand trying to wait for a little cooler weather to resume work and hoping the gas prices drop.

In a 390 I'd think that cam would idle fairly well. Is that a 272 advertised dur.? I think Ford motors take more cam than brand x's. Especially Mopar. I had a bigger cam is my 351 and never had an idle problem. I did idle at 800 though. I have a pretty hot cam in my 514 and it will idle at 800.

It's a 315 adv duration,I've never ran a cam with this much adv duration and this lift most are the other way high lift and 270-290 dur.I had a comps cam magnum 560 lift 292 adv dur and 244 @ .050.This idled at around 1200.The cam I was asking about is about the same grind as one of the old 406/427 solids.I read once hwere the type idle is determined by the dur at .050.
