anybody know of a reliable site where i can DL the Driver for an IBM PC Camera? or perhaps, even better, the software? been to a few, but they didn't work. i didn't know if there was a hidden site somewhere that was better.
IBM was difficult to find what i wanted. so far hadn't found it yet. its for my lil lady. she found it the other day and wanted to hook it up, but doesn't know where the disc is...been a while since she's seen it. i'll see if she's got a booklet on it though. i'll give drivers.com a try....
I'd go with www.driverguide.com also: Note: It'll ask you to "LOG IN". Use the username "drivers" and password "all" and it will let you continue to the site even though it says the password has "expired". That was the username / password when the site first opened years ago & it still works. Once you are in, I'd suggest selecting "basic search" and put in KEYWORDS like a Model # of the camera, etc. the more specific you are, the faster it will find it; general keywords (like IBM) will result in time outs, or have some many possibilities you can't find what you need. Searching by Vendor may also be the way to go. Good luck !
yeah, i logged into driversguide, found one we thought would work, but it didn't. the proramg said it wourl work from 98-XP, hers being 98...but it stops at 2000....oh well. i'll keep lookin around.
another suggestion is to buy a new camera, have an ge brand camera, came twin pak at bjs, well lost cd and cant find driver online , long story short will be going to buy logitech next time.
