converting carb to injected
I think of converting to fuel injection on a 1982 Ford F100 with a inline 6 and manual transmission. I want to use megasquirt. What engine mods are need for efi (such as part to change out)? Would throttle body be better or just easier? Or would you suggest use a stock system from a efi truck? Thanks in advance to all that reply!

There's a minor problem. The head on an EFI is designed for fast (IIRC) burn flame front vs. the slow of the carbed head. The timing system of each is designed around the burn characteristics. I'm sure with someone with some know how could recurve the dizzy, but it's surely not a bolt on swap. The fuel injected setup will require an electric pump as well.
