im thnking about buying a 2005 ford f150 fx4 and i had a few questions. first thang is i heard that you couldent lift it, is this true? second i was wondering if any one had any feed back on this truck, good are bad. lastly i was wondering if any one had any ideas for after market must buy's for the fx4?
i plan on putting a 3" body lift and a 6" suspension lift on right off the bat if i can after that im open for sugestions.

To answer your question yes you can lift these trucks a LOT of ppl on here seem to have the 4x4's and have lifted them one that comes to mind is blkbuty ( I think that is what his screen name is but if you do some searches on lifts and bigger tires on this forum you will find plenty of info
i would definitely recommend the truck, you can do a lot of work to it, including a lift. Aftermarket mods, however, are as personal as your name. You can add nothing but a bug deflector or you can bling it out (hate that word) with 28" wheels (exaggerating of course) and chrome out the entire bed if you want. I wouldn't, but upgrade to your hearts (and wallets) content.
